ROAD SIGN POEM #1
Oh, this is going to be fun! Road Sign Poems!

Back in my MFA days, one of the poets wrote a poem based on a road sign that read
SLOW
MEN
WORKING
ON TREES
All I can remember is the title and the story of the poem. And her name, of course.
ICE MAY EXIST
seen at the mouth of a Boulder underpass, and elsewhere, seems the sign makers have become philosophers.
Oh yes. In New Mexico, they wax philosophical about dust storms. Happy New Year, Deborah.
