Oh, I’m taking these as a happy birthday solstice fun gift from the XP brain pie! I love them all. And so would Wallace Steven’s blackbirds x 13. Xoxox
One of my passport photos was so bad that when I was flying back from Rome, the customs agent (or whatever he was) said, "You are not ugly, but this photo--" and he shook his head.
And one of my driver's license photos made me look like I'd had a beatific vision, or was high.
These are pithy and delightful (not necessarily in that order!) and I love the way your twisted mind works, X.P. Twisted like a tornado! thanks for a fun Friday read.
Thank you. I checked your archive to see whether you might be new here, and you are. I appreciate your interest, but please stop spamming me in the comments. This is the second time in about a week. If someone advised you to do this, it was not good advice. Good luck to you.
You left a similar comment on June 13, also with a link to your work. Here are links to two posts on Substack etiquette and engagement. See especially item 7 in the first one. Good luck to you.
Oh, I'm enjoying this!
Ha ha ha! These are hilarious. I agree, euphony is probably impossible with a mouthful of eggs Benedict Cumberbwunch.
Ha ha ha.
These are great.
Glad you enjoyed them, Ronald.

Happy birthday, Alexis! Elliott Bay gift card on the way.
Love these, they made me laugh out loud!
That makes me happy.

LOL customs agent. That may even beat my mother, on her literal deathbed, saying "What did you do to your hair?"
He even showed it to his mates and they all agreed.
Your mother's line would be a great opening for a poem or short personal essay!
Love these! What a great way to start the day.
Thanks, Cindy.
These are fabulous. I posted them to FB and also to a Substack Note. May your readers be a multitude!
Ha ha. Thank you, Lev.
Love these!
❤️ these!

A. Thank you for replying
B. Thank you for liking my comment
C. I’m not aware of having written to you before today
D. I absolutely read your work, clever poetics, haikus I believe before coming to believe we might have something in common
E. If unsolicitedly suggesting that potential to you upon finding a common love and talent for poetry feels to much like spamming, duly noted

I have looked and you are right, I did reach out to you twice this way. My apologies. I do try to not pester people. I need to keep better track!
Thanks for understanding. I’m curating a space for conversation, not promotion. I wish you well with your writing.
I love these. So fun and then to end with “poetry snowmelt”
