Me too! And stealth-listening all night to Motown coming from CKLW in Windsor, Ontario, across Lake Erie. On a clear night I could get WBZ in Boston.

Amen. And the groups were on TV so often you felt like you knew them. They were guests, they had specials, they were awesome.
BTW, have you seen Whoopie Goldberg imitate Diana Ross in Jumping Jack Flash? And seen the video with Aretha singing that song?

It's a must-see comedy, especially her doing Jagger.....
